Many people who are considering conversion to Judaism start by taking this class which covers basic Jewish beliefs, practices, and history. 
Taking a class about Judaism does not automatically mean someone is going to convert, as people may also take such classes out of curiosity or to learn more about their Jewish partner's heritage.
